There are a few actors who make anything they're in worth watching. Robert Duvall, Willem Dafoe, John Malkovich, and others. But Hopkins tops any such list. He'd probably be embarrassed to hear it said, but IMHO he's a better actor than his fellow Welshman, Richard Jenkins (stage name Burton) ever was. That he keeps his mouth shut about his politics proves some actors aren't at all stupid.
