Well she is convinced he is the greatest lawyer in the world (tried to get him appointed Solicitor General) so she may fear him taking her kids away from her. They are also Catholic, so do not divorce lightly (if devout).
He is by far a lout and a bully. She never bashes him in public nor even discusses his cruel jibes towards her and her boss. He is the most repulsive “man” in the Swamp.
