Seems counterintuitive. Are we or are we not in the middle of a protracted trade war between the U.S. and China engineered by the president? For years, American politicians talked tough about making China pay for its unfair trade practices and did next to nothing to actually stop them. Trump was different. He’s not beyond putting pressure on China on human rights either, as we saw just 48 hours ago. And of course he’s unpredictable, even to his own advisors. It can’t help but unsettle the east’s rising dominant power that the west’s dominant power is led by someone who’s openly skeptical of them and who often seems capable of anything.

Gee, Allahpundit, I wonder where you got the idea to feature that story today which has been buried in the Washington Post since Tuesday...until a certain person (who was FIRST IN LINE at the Trump Sunrise Rally) wrote it up YESTERDAY in Newsbusters? The big difference is that the Newsbusters' story saw right through the WaPo hype in producing an anti-Trump narrative while Allahpundit ABSURDLY performed a lot of pretzel twisting over-explanations to buy into their alternate universe premise.

What happened with Allahpundit was that years ago he was madly in love with Kirsten Powers. How do I know? Because he was publicly proclaiming his love for her. So instead of maybe getting in contact with her and asking her out like a normal person, he just kept on acting like a lovesick puppy dog perhaps in the hope that she would feel sorry for him and respond.

Then, while Allahpundit kept proclaiming his love from afar, Powers married someone else which seems to have shattered Allahpundit to the extent that he went from being mostly conservative to hostile towards conservatives. Yes, his poor widdle broken heart affected him so much that it changed his politics.
