McConnell should state that if articles aren’t drawn up by 12/1 the Senate will not start a trial until they can fit it into their schedule. This will tell Democrat’s that since this is a quick process it has to be done now. Then say they will have pro over the Christmas holiday to complete the trial.

The Dems will happily occupy exactly as much of the political battlefield as the GOP Senate gives them unopposed. The Dems are pivoting and probing in a different direction because the GOP Senate is seemingly planning to engage the coupists on Ukraine.

I thought the next step was to send their report to the House Judiciary Committee. That’s where the Articles of Impeachment would be drawn up and THEN a House vote. The House Intelligence Committee is like a Detective sending his arrest report findings to a DA (Judiciary Committee) to press specific charges (Articles) or not. I could have this wrong.

Doesn't matter, the senate is already investigating the whole matter separately. They don't need an impeachment vote to inquire about the Biden’s, Pelosi’s, Chalupa and other Ukrainian-US operatives who seem to have had a wide channel of US tax dollars back to the Dems, along with dirt-digging on conservatives by the Ukes. A “sealed” impeachment? This is reminiscent of the days following the ‘16 upset in which the media and the Dems (I repeat myself) were thinking up “clever” ways to overturn the election by manipulating the Electoral College. Sounds fine on paper and in front of a sympathetic audience, try it and see and take the consequences that follow.
