Is this car for real, or just some gimick prototype deal?

It looks terrible. I dig the stainless steel, which evokes notions of a Delorean, but the shape looks so crude. Reminds me of the sux6000 from robocop

It’s one of those cars that looks really cool when you first see it, and after a while it looks like a volkswagen kit car. :)
