President Trump has chosen some individuals for his staff who were not loyal. They just weren’t good picks. Trump, I think, is very good at picking people but no one is perfect and it is inevitable that some people on the team will fall short.
Likewise, Pompeo has some diplomats on his team that fall short. I wouldn’t be too quick to say Pompeo has to go because of it.
I think Pompeo is a keeper.

Who should be held accountable. In the U.S. military often leaders are held accountable for what their subordinates are doing. Even though the Leader is great his subordinates are undermining the mission. So someone is held accountable.
Case in point, think of tail hook scandal. The Navy Secretary resigned over it, and he was not even there. Ditto with many Admirals who were not even in Vegas.
The only reason I am pointing this out is because it is well known incident. That was not an anomaly move too. It happens often in all the branches. It is why I left the military. Your career can easily be ruined by circumstances that are completely out of your control.
It is too bad congress is not held to the same standard.

If there were, the MSM would have been all over it at the first mention of Jr. running for president.
That is not true. The legal argument for NBC=both parents US Citizens plus birth on US soil has been made many times on this forum. I understand that you disagree with it. Fine. Don't pretend it doesn't exist. That just makes you look foolish.

I remember those arguments very well, they involved John McCain and whether or not he was eligible to be president since he was born in the Canal Zone, not the United States....And Ted Cruz being born in a Canadian hospital to parents who were U.S. citizens.....Lots of stupid people here argued that neither one of them were eligible. And I suspect you were one of them......
I'm talking about a LEGAL argument, one discussed in a court of law or contained in a legal tome..
There is not one single legal decision that states both parents of an individual must be natural born or naturalized citizens in order for them to be eligible for the president of the United States. None, zero, zip, nada!
Article II, Section 1, Clause 5 is very precise and needs no interpretation.
"No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States."

There will never be a legal challenge presented to the SCOTUS about the legitimacy of an individual running for the POTUS based on whether or not one of their parents was either a natural born or naturalized citizen because there is nothing in the Constitution that evens mentions the parents.
I have presented the legal interpretation of the Constitution and yet you still deny it exists.........So give it up dude, that hole you are digging is making it more and more difficult for you to climb out of.......

The “diplomats” working against Trump were ALLOWED to be in the NSC by the President. More precisely by that idiot Rinse and Repeat Priebus (a bushie installer) who ALLOWED the 200 plus obamaumao holdovers on the NSC.
What you can bet and see is that BOTH KELLY and Mattis allowed DOD spies of Brennans to remain in place. And, they are gone. Like any good businessman, Trump is clearing out the cliques and cabals. And Barr is significantly helping. We have two weeks and the matter will hit the fan.
