Harp Enterprises is an election services company founded in 1972 by R.J. Harp and a group of investors. The company has built a reputation of turnkey election products in Kentucky, Tennessee, Indiana and Arkansas. Starting out as a printing company, Harp Enterprises specialized in printing ballots for old style lever voting machines and has evolved into computerized voting systems in use throughout the country.
On November 10, 2014 Roger D. Baird, current President of Harp Enterprises purchased 100% of the voting shares of Harp Enterprises from Peggy S. Harp. The purchase has been in the planning stages for several months and the structure of succession of Harp Enterprises was established in December of 1999.

Roger Baird and his team currently support the Hart Intercivic Voting System and have been certified as their exclusive distributor for their region. Today Harp Enterprises services Hart’s product in over 130 county governments in four states.

Roger’s business career began in Banking and Consumer Finance in 1976 and continued that path until 1983. In the fall of 1983 he was hired at Harp Enterprises in Lexington. Harp Enterprises was a printing company at that time with strong emphasis on ballot printing of old lever voting machines. In 1999 he was able to become a major shareholder and President and in 2014 leveraged a complete buyout of all the shares. Today the company sells and services high end electronic voting machines certified for federal, state and local elections in 130 counties in Kentucky, Tennessee and Indiana.

In 2007 he purchased Software Management based in Louisville. The company is a land records software provider for 76 counties in Kentucky. They provide software for easy access of Mortgage and Deed records in the County Clerk’s office and a web based look up system for title searchers.

About the Judge Executive:
Garrett Gruber is a native resident of Livingston County, growing up in Smithland, KY. Garrett graduated from Livingston Central High School in 2007 before moving on to Murray State University where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Integrated Studies. Judge Gruber served 11 years in the Army National Guard and is proud of his work on Kentucky Senate Bill 117 (2017) which helps veterans transition more easily into teaching careers.

About the Role of Judge Executive:

The judge-executive also has a vote as a member of the Fiscal Court-the county’s legislative arm. The Livingston County Fiscal Court has five members-the judge-executive and four magistrates, each representing their own geographical district. The Fiscal Court is responsible for handling the budget and passing ordinances. Many of the judge-executive’s powers require the Fiscal Court’s approval (through a majority vote).

Ideally, the judge-executive job has another critical component-serving as the county’s ambassador on the local, regional, state, and federal level. In this role, he or she establishes and maintains relationships with other agencies and governments.

Yes but if the paper ballot had a number receipt that one could tear off...then paper ballots could be checked against the number...one could verify if one’s own vote was correct in case of a recount.

Well let’s see here. What do we know about techies?
98% are left leaning just like MSM/hollywood.
We see it with the social networks, google etc. I’ve been on discord and other techie social networking systems like diaspora, friendica, gnusocial etc and they all lean left. Not too hard to believe they wouldn’t collude with dem pols to rig elections.

There are some FReepers who have stated that they Voted for every Republican EXCEPT the Governor.

I don’t get it. I would never enable a Rat to win Elected Office.

The only Rat I ever Voted for was the moronic Latina running against evil Kameltoe “Headboard” Harris for Senator in CA where there was no Republican on the Ballot.
