It isn't us (humans of normal intelligence familiar with the political playing field) they're trying to convince. They'd be trying to convince the vast squishy middle who aren't that invested and don't normally pay that much attention. With that segment plus their true believers they can win elections.

Bingo! Our education system, the MSM and the entertainment industry has been doing its best to provide the election fodder. It is happening right in front of us and our nation appears to be sitting on its hands.

Once they reach the tipping point, and they have come close with their ongoing coup attempt, it will require a forceful indeed violent "right wing" response to correct the issue. Is the nation up for that?

Hillary's popular vote agrees. The clock is running and it appears Trump is currently the only thing standing in their way, and he seems woefully short of political support even within his own party. Those two facts alone should immediately raise serious concern over the fragility of our position.
