I saw Democrat Eric Swalwell explain last night that they need the secret room and restricted recordings/transcripts because they don't want to influence the testimonies of future witnesses. In other words, they don't trust them to tell the truth under oath.

Next time the Republican Proud Dirty Thirty need to parade outside the Schiff kangaroo court room with Scottish Highland bagpipers playing on rotation all day.
They could not hold their hearing inside without enjoying the skurling war sound as they try to listen to their kangaroo witnesses.
