A team built to win 100 games and draw 3 million fans in a season is rarely the same team that is built to win 3 out of 5 games or 4 out of 7 games in a post-season series. We saw it with the Braves in the 1990s, the Yankees over the last decade, and the Dodgers in the last couple of years.

Really, as one that grew up in a baseball family, with all the money the Yankees have spent they forgot one thing. Pitching wins baseball games, not hitting.
