There is a reason why most Americans do not know about the lies uttered by U.S. Rep. Adam Schiff upon the opening of hearings on impeaching President Donald Trump.
That is because the Trump-hating establishment media, led by The New York Times and followed by the networks, either ignored the story or buried it in its malicious and dishonorable campaign to impeach Trump.
The main-stream media has become as radicalized as the Democrat Party. It now functions as the partys mouthpiece, the way Pravda in Moscow used to do for the Communist Party ruling class in the old Soviet Union.

The US Media.
Who is sounding the alarm on this now?
Welcome to the party capn.obvs.
Main-stream media
I think they meant Lame Street Media.
Not just dems, these journalists are outright communists and want to impose their warped worldview on the rest of us.
They live in a parallel universe, completely unaware of the actual facts about so much. We conservatives are forced to see comments from the left because they are present everywhere. People who consume only the NYT, WaPo, NPR, CNN, ABC, etc believe that they are well-informed and do not seek out any media with opposing positions. They are never forced to see or read any contradictions to the bias in these major media outlets. They are sure that they know everything that is important to know. It is frightening.
So this is what I’m doing with one old liberal friend of mine, who wanted to begin a “respectful” conversation about Trump and why I support him. I think the idea was to have a back-and-forth of notes on various political points. But she hasn’t responded to my last two diatribes against the liberals. I actually write out my own ideas, buttressed by many links (most from FR articles), hoping that she might actually reply with facts about the assertions of Trump as a liar, racist, etc. So far, no facts from her side. But I keep track of good articles to send her and I plan to keep doing this monthly.
If we can each take one old liberal friend (in academe I have tons, as you can imagine), and try to show them alternative points of view....who knows if we can wake some of them up.
Funny thing is, over at DU, they say the exact same thing only that the MSM is a mouthpiece for the republicans and right.
They think the MSM is painting Trump in a positive light.
The Ministry of Propaganda has been a mouthpiece for the Democrats (and Democrats in R jerseys) for my entore adult life.
This guy is just figuring that out?
Anti-truth media is a mouthpiece for totalitarians.
- Wire service journalism is inherently monopolistic. Even tho there are multiple wire services, each wire service constitutes a continuous virtual meeting of its subscribers/members.
People of the same trade seldom meet together, even for merriment and diversion, but the conversation ends in a conspiracy against the public, or in some contrivance to raise prices. - Adam Smith, Wealth of Nations (1776)To suppose that the wire services could conduct meetings" of all major journalists for a century and a half without producing "a conspiracy against the public is fanciful.
- Journalism is about news - bad news. Journalisms bias is that bad news is the only thing that is important. Ever more bad news about society constitute a rationale for ever more government.
- The conspiracy against the public which the continual meetings of all journalists produce is the thoroughgoing self-serving propaganda propaganda campaign which promotes journalisms bad-news, pro-big government perspective as objective. That campaign creates the word objective as what is in effect a title of nobility for journalists. But it also assigns to every positive political label - progressive, liberal, moderate, centrist, etc - precisely the same meaning as has been assigned to objective. Those labels are made to mean the same thing as the Newspeak version of objective - but the usage of those labels is different. No other Newspeak label is ever to be applied to a journalist but objective - and any of the other Newspeak labels are applied to anyone not employed as a journalist but going along and getting along perfectly with journalism.
In sum, it is illegitimate to pass any law which assumes that journalism actually is the font of virtue and objectivity which it claims to be. Or which assumes that there is a difference between a journalist and a Democrat.
