Why not criticize Trump’s DOJ?
Pretty obviously not Trump’s DOJ at this point. Zee Resistance is in charge there. Although, I do think some of Trump’s political moves are misdirection to avoid direct intraparty conflict with the GOP in Congress. Barr takes the heat for them, basically. POTUS can’t win in 2020 while engaging his own party. He knows they won’t support him and trys to hide that fact from voters lest Trump voter morale crash.
The coup is bipartisan in nature...Mueller and his police state tactics never happen without top cover from the GOP. Its that simple.

Good comments all.
The GOP is complicit in this mess. Period.
Or maybe it's family protection...
If you go up against the Clintons, you are likely dead...If you go up against the entire Washington establishment, you no longer will have a family...
I believe Trump's doing the best he can with what he's got to work with...

Another very insightful comment! You’re on a roll today. :)
I hope Trump decides to start his own party at some point. The GOP does not, and never will, faithfully represent conservative interests.
Once a significant threshold of serfs who thought they were citizens has been reached there wont be enough suckers for the game to go on.
Martial Law is an option that really needs to be considered. In fact, IMHO it is probably the ONLY thing that would restore our country to some semblance of what it was before the DOJ went rogue.
I said it before and I’ll say it again.. There is NO WAY in hell that ANY lawyer in DC is going to bring ANY OTHER lawyer in DC to JUSTICE..! If, at this point in time, you really want to see justice in the federal government, you better get a rope.... :(
I was trying to be ironic.
Constitutionally it should be Trump's DOJ, but it still remains firmly in the hands of the Deep State.
Or so it seems.
I guess it's still possible that Barr and Durham will show us otherwise, but watching Gowdy last night on Hannity, it sure seems like he was out there to deliver a message, that the fix is in.
But the social contract is unraveling. Notice the early indications. Just a year or so ago we had one guy crack and mail a bunch of fake bombs around. Not that long ago an Active Duty Officer made the mistake of talking to someone else about plans he was making and so he was thwarted. My guess is there is someone out there who wont be foolish and mail fake bombs. Who wont be foolish and talk about it. Some one who knows where McCabe or Comey or another of these conspirators will be at a given time and that person will visit justice on them through vigilance. Because that is what happens as things unravel. Barr had his chance.

Spot on. This is a sophisticated psywar op going on right now to condition us to that fact that nothing substantive will be done about the coup. The Deep State people are pros at gaslighting. Sadly, most the sheeple will never understand how they are being manipulated.
reply to: To allow them to preen and strut after what they have done. No. We aint having none of that.
OK, so when that doesn’t happen...what’s next?
Spontaneous events become increasingly more common is historically generally what evolves. I notice we had two mass murders in two days recently. Looks like the tempo is increasing to me.

Many of us have been saying for some time that those at the top have great leeway in their jobs and that many things that are wrong are not illegal. However there are other forms of punishment than criminal, including financial and loss of prestige/reputation and hopefully all will be administered to Comey, Brennan, Clapper, et al. More likely for the lower level people will face prosecution.
Including LOSING YOUR LAW LICENSE.
Being found in CONTEMPT OF COURT...SPECIFICALLY THE FISA COURT
For those still employed being fired en masse.
Perhaps lawyers, like Gowdy, have some thoughts.
If Weissman has his license revoked and Christopher Wray is FIRED, I would feel somewhat better.
So many traitors...so little time. Pathetic
Well hear that tired old refrain...mistakes were made and we have to make sure it doesnt happen again...yada,yada,yada.
God does work through people. Hence the remnant! :)
Nineteen years here, and you’ve never learned how to post an image? Wow.
It's the top of the iceberg. Read Collyer's April 2017 Opinion and Order. The government undetakes RAMPANT warrantless snooping -- which is coincidentally constitiutional when performed to gather foreign intelligence.
The FISA warrant stack is there to "prove" a falsehood - that the government uses utmost care and the highest standards before snooping.
I see a real practical barrier to getting a "lied to the FISA court" conviction. I bet the application is literally true. Misleading, but literally true.
I believe I have considered 100% of the particular statutory violations posited.
It is true that I tend to ignore you.
