Ubisoft ruined the Tom Clancy name.
If I could do either of those things, I would. I’m more character design, story boarding, that kind of stuff. When I was graduating high school, the industry was so overcrowded that it would have been unwise to spend money on those classes.
Makes me wonder what Far Cry 6 will have in it.
I like both the Aassassin’s Creed and Far Cry lines.
That said, I suspect they are looking for “certain” coders that fit a non-asian, non-white, non-straight, non-male profile.
Every game from Ubisoft starts with a disclaimer that it was built by people of every gender, race, etc. If you are a POC Unicorn gendered sub-saharan pygmy, you are in. If you are a talented coder you probably fit a non-desirable profile and you’ll have a much tougher time getting a job with them.
Is there a difference? Are programmers old people and coders young people?
