As long as you buy ANYTHING that works on MS Windows, you'll spend too much money every two years trying to keep it updated and virus free. It took my over 20 years to learn (the hard and expensive way) that APPLE is cheaper in the long run, and gives less trouble, and is more secure. It's just that simple !

That has not been my experience, having spent just $30 for Win. 8 to Win. 10 Pro (free upgrades) and with only two minor viruses (one under W/98SE) in about 20 years of heavy Internet use and installations of Freeware. Most of the time with no resident anti-virus but a (edited) mvps host file while keeping an eye on what is running and overall trying to check in with the Holy Spirit ("pray and press"), being careful where I "drive."

You'll learn the hard way, like I did.

I've had pilots in the military that been telling me since I bought my first computer back in 1981 about Apple.
But I didn't listen either.
Finally in 2001 I decided to try Apple.
It's been the best thing I've done with my computers, ... ever.
I won't ever go back to Microsoft, or anything that is based on their highly flawed operating systems.
