The media should stop using absurdly lazy phrases like “mandatory gun buybacks.” Unless the politician they’re talking about is in the business of selling firearms, it’s impossible for him to “buy back” anything. No government official—not Joe Biden, not Beto O’Rourke, not any of the candidates who now support “buyback” programs—has ever sold firearms.
What Democrats propose can be more accurately described as “the first American gun confiscation effort since Lexington and Concord,” or some variation on that theme. Although tax dollars will be meted out in an effort to incentivize volunteers, the policy is to confiscate AR-15s, the vast majority of which have been legally purchased by Americans who have undergone background checks and never used a gun for a criminal purpose.

I considered selling my guns back to the government but after a background check and thorough investigation into the buyer, I determined the buyer has a history of violence and is mentally unstable. Big risk to everyone around it.
I think the first response to the first gun grab would be in order, just as it was then.

Those in Congress are keenly aware the American people are boarding on literal hate for them. They lie, cheat, scheme, scam, they orchestrate the law and the political system to be advantageous for themselves and at the people’s expense. The Congress critters that are really sinister are the ones who leave office as multi millionaires after making a career of DC. If I’m not mistaken the approval rating for Congress is <13%. So with that, why wouldn’t those in Congress in both parties not want to disarm the people? I surmise they do and they will soon approve legislation that will begin that process.

While I wholeheartedly agree with you, it’s important to remember that at least two generations of children have been intentionally propagandized to believe otherwise by our government-run public indoctrination and daytime detention centers. They’ve never been told of the horrors of communism, but rather that communism is a collectivist utopia that’s full of unicorns, rainbows and Skittles.

Our public education system has been completely compromised.. I believe a vast majority of the so call "Millennials" are exactly that, FOOLS....
I just like bolt-actions better. Still, if they don’t want me to have an AR-15, that’s a pretty good reason to get one.
