Kim Campbell, Canadas former prime minister for a coffee break, desperately wants to be relevant.
Shes been searching for it since 1993 when her political career went down in flames along with the Progressive Conservative Party she led at the time.
When she was finished, two seats in the Commons were all the PCs had left after nine years of majority government under Brian Mulroney.
There havent been many humiliating defeats like that in Canadian political history, although Donald Trumps shocking win over Hillary Clinton to become U.S. President in 2016 rivals it.
Campbell has kept busy over the years with a diplomatic posting, teaching law and chairing the Council of Women World Leaders.
Clearly, she doesnt want to be remembered as Canadas first and only female prime minister, who put Canadas founding political party on the path to extinction.

Looks like her wishes of major catastrophe up and down the east coast may not materialize hopefully.
Wasn’t that an often used joke on Fat Albert
you’re like a teacher with no students
no class
or something like that :)
James Comey helped her to write that tweet.
Maybe a polar vortex will freeze the twat..err..twit.
A bit closer to the real Canada than the PR they put out.
/polite On alert Canada. When the shit hits the fan you get no quarter here.
Just know she is white trash and move on. Don’t give her the attention she craves.
A woman I never heard of, won an election in Canada for PM? How embarrassing for Hillary...
“Progressive Conservative Party” ???
That one of those leftist orwellian organization names they use ?
Kim Campbell became PM by winning the leadership of the PC party, after Brian Mulroney stepped down knowing he had won his last election. She was PM for a few short weeks before an election utterly destroyed any influence the PC party held to that time.
The “Progressive” part of the PC name came about in the early part of the 20th century, when everything good was thought progressive. I consider it a fair warning to avoid following the popular trends when naming something that you hope endures.
