Census could reveal electoral extinction of the Republicans
The Hill ^ | 8/25/2019 | Kristin Tate

Posted on 08/26/2019 3:02:32 PM PDT by therightliveswithus

Whites tend to vote Republican, while nonwhites tend to vote Democrat. This proved true in the 2016 election, when Trump carried white voters by 20 percent, while Hillary Clinton won 74 percent of nonwhite voters. With the number of Latinos living in the United States nearly doubling since 2000, it is not difficult to see why Texas could soon follow California, Colorado, and Nevada into the Democratic camp in the next 20 years.

Using the 2000 census and the 2010 census along with 2018 data, the electoral reality becomes more clear. The population of those under 18 will be majority nonwhite next year. Each of the major ethnic groups is expanding at different rates. By averaging the rate of annual population change between 2010 and 2018, we get an estimate of 2020 demographic figures. The number of Latinos will likely increase to nearly 63 million in 2020, an astounding 24 percent higher than in 2010. Latinos will comprise 19 percent of the overall population by 2020, up 50 percent from 2000. Finally, the proportion of whites as a percentage of the overall population will likely decline from 69 percent in 2000 down to 59 percent in 2020.

George W. Bush was a catastrophic presidency. “Winning” with someone like that is losing.

They are already inside the wall in sufficient numbers & they reproduce. The wall will only keep new ones from outside out.

Do you know what those 6-10 year old boys are being taught in school? They will turn out indoctrinated just like Nazi & Soviet school kids were.

> Not if citizens are separated from no. Citizens on the census. Bingo, allowing non-citizens to be counted on the census is the Dem's endgame.

Partner, it is a real shame what the Rat party wants to do with the census and to top it off the Chamber of Commerce or Chamber of Horrors also wants non-citizens to be counted in the census.

Non-citizens should be kicked out of the country since they have already broken the law by being inside our country. Does anybody ever follow the U.S. Constitution anymore???

Public schools and corporate liberalism are leading the destruction. There’s much to do just to get President Trump reelected. Many more people will need to get involved. Remember that the NRA spent about $100 million on the 2016 elections—at least $30 million of that on Mr. Trump. Since then, the radical left has trolled ignorant people on conservative discussion boards enough to make sure that it doesn’t happen again.

The left is absolutely obsessed with skin color and know it is the driving wedge that will rip this country apart. It’s all by design.

Partner, u ain't lying!!!

W. is responsible for a lot of folks that consider themselves "Independent" like myself!!!

We have a very good POTUS in Donald Trump right now. He is putting up the Southern Border 30' high wall and he is giving fits to those "Giant Sixth Grade Brain Journalists" which really is pleasing for all of us to see.

I am sure that you are absolutely correct on that point.

The yield of capable young men will be very low - but it will be enough. The rest of the generation will have tragically crippled lives and end bitter ending as discards of the State. They simply won't be capable of sustaining the Leviathan. It will disintegrate from incompetence, more than from opposition.

A tyrannical Government, run by a second-generation Idiocracy will self-destruct in factional infighting. The conflagration will take down all of our national and cultural institutions, and while there may remain on paper, a "United States of America", most likely the real system will evolve into 5-8 regional governments with homogenous racial and ethnic populations.

And the regions will have enforced borders too. Think of the California "Agricultural Inspection Stations", only with concertina wire and .50 caliber automatic weapons at the ready.

The sorting out will be "interesting times", and will also be a multi-generational affair.

Impossible. Karl Rove assured us that Latinos were conservative and a natural for the Repuke party.

During the early Obama years, the governor of Puerto Rico was a Club For Growth Republican. Currently the non-voting Congresswoman from Puerto Rico is Republican.

During the early Bush years the President of Mexico was Vicente Fox, a libertarian leaning leader of PAN, the party of devout Catholics, small businessmen and libertarians. He was followed in the Obama years by PAN’s Calderon, the Alan Keyes social conservative of Mexico.

No need to mention Cubans. So Hispanics do vote Conservative on the issues ... at times. They are best described as Purple, neither Red nor Blue.

US Republicans are at an image disadvantage. In the 1920s Mexican Marxist President Calles tried to genocide devout Catholics and libertarians who supported freedom of religion. He assassinated tens of thousands of them. The Rockefeller Republicans and the Republican Predsident made a Corporatist deal with Marxists Mexican President.

The US Republicans gave Mexico what amounted to the WMD of that decade to finalize the genocide. In turn, the Mexican Marxist President gave the Rockefeller Republicans the Mexican Oil.

PAN are blood and ideological descendants of those not killed. Their image of Republicans is Corporatists making deals with Marxists.

Once you convince them that you are against the Rockefeller Republicans, you will be considered. Just as some Americans have stereotype views of foreigners so some of them have stereotype views of us. Find a way to overcome that.

In heavily Hispanic Hanover Park 7 precincts voted 100% * Republican several times. But between those victories, the Hispanics voted 100% Democrat against Rockefeller Republican Jim Ryan, who wanted to assassinate Rolando Cruz. It is “Republican” actions like that which destroy efforts to build a consistent Hispanic Republican vote.

*except 1 Puerto Rican on welfare who voted Democrat.

And in the 1960s, democrats controlled Texas. LBJ, anyone? Control of states ebbs and flows.

The modern Republican party is now pretty much the 1960s Democrat party, and the Democrat party is now the Socialist party. Texas voters didn't change, the parties did. The Democrats decided to focus on the cities because they discovered the votes are much cheaper to buy there.

Reagan's California is now a permanent one party state due to a mass flood of imported voters. What's surprising is the Democrats greedily continue to import even more voters. Doesn't that just speed up the bankruptcy filing and the end of their rule? A two-thirds permanent super-majority isn't enough? Now they are working to replicate the California method in other states.

My gloom and doom prediction is a hundred year civil war—at the end future generations will have forgotten what the war was about....

The problem with modern war is that the first thing to fail would be the infrastructure—civilization is totally dependent on the electrical grid...it would get very ugly very fast.

Tate seems to be treating all Hispanics as “non-white” even though the government is always telling us that “Hispanics can be of any race.” In any case, the Republicans should try to win as many Hispanics as possible—it’s a mistake to assume that they are all automatic Democratic voters.

But at least back then the "ebbs and flows" were due to U.S. citizens, not foreign nationals as is the case for the last couple of decades.

I’d prefer Veterans and male land owners.

We should do value-added voting! Every net taxpaying citizen gets one vote to begin. +1 vote for each tier of tax bracket you hit.

Landowner? +2 votes. (+1 each if split between two people, ie husband/wife owning a house.) Own 1-10 acres? +1 vote. 11-100, +1 vote. 1000, +1 more. Etc. Gain one additional vote for each factor of ten acres you personally own.

Public servant? (Cop, Firefighter, EMT only) +2 votes.

Honorable discharge? +10 votes. Med discharge, +5. Purple heart +10. Retired military, +20.

Hold some form of elected office? -10 votes (can't go below one for any negative)

Federal office? Add another -10.

I'm sure there's plenty others, but that would be a good start to even-ing out the vote!

My gloom and doom prediction is a hundred year civil war...

I expect that it will take "only" 10-15 years. It won't look like what we think of as a civil war either.

A failure of Medicare/Medicaid due to insolvency is 3-4 years away. A cascade of failures to State pension plans in Illinois, California, and Pennsylvania should occur in the 2024-2028 time frame. Other States will follow.

Of course the Federal Government will bail out these programs. The checks (or EFT deposits) will keep on coming no matter what. Except for a few minor delays, and that one time or two when the amounts were shorted. But the Government promises to make good on those payments. Eventually.

Inflation, price controls, service interruptions, shortages, enforcement of the new anti-hoarding laws, and selected tax increases will do more harm than riots or revolts. We will get those too as things wear on. But people will adapt to increasingly totalitarian Government rules with disheartening speed. People will in fact clamor for more authoritarian rules after a few spectacular terrorist events.

What people cannot adapt to is extended failures of water, sewer, and electric power systems in a metropolitan area. Suppliers that do not get paid stop supplying and technicians who cannot afford transportation to get to work stop maintaining complex systems. Those systems fail. Service gets restored. Then systems fail again. The intervals of downtime get longer and longer. People in the affected areas get very agitated. There are protests which turn into riots. The Police, and later the Army manage to suppress them. Until the next time.

Such things are highly localized. If you are 50 miles away from the latest disturbance, life goes on as if everything is still normal. Everybody keeps pretending. You are not affected, until the rolling problems finally hit your town.

Politicians make new laws and emergency decrees which are contradictory, unenforceable, and quite simply insane. Bureaucrats and Police charged with execution of these policies simply give up and hide in their offices, rather than face an increasingly hostile public.

Most serious violence will start with Government-sponsored militia such as the Antifa franchises. The professional organizer funding for these groups comes from a complex web of "Non-Profit Organizations", which often track directly back to tax-payer sources. As things get tight, the factional disputes over money will get ugly. Leftists will solve these disputes by force.

Leftists are fondly imagining that they can hunt down the Deplorables and destroy them. But people that can actually do that sort of thing will not feel restrained from turning on their own colleagues over internal disputes. And they will. This will weaken them until they cannot sustain enough force to resist external opponents.

Organized criminal gangs, operating strictly for profit motives are likely to do much better than ideologically-based Leftist groups. If they are smart enough to protect the people who keep the freighter, water, sewer, and power systems running, they will become the core of the new Government.

"Interesting Times".

I was laughing as I read that one--I think we have some of that now.

Here in CT they just launched the "no plastic bag" law. The mass confusion "on the ground" is hilarious--every store has a different policy, and some are profiteering on plastic or paper bags.

The insane part is because (as was discussed by Mark Steyn on Rush today) most of the ocean pollution is caused by China, Indonesia, Bangladesh et al and the US is a _very_ minor part of it. The politicians talk a good game but they are totally crazy and will do _anything_ to virtue signal.

We are not "saving the Earth". We are just being stupid idiots!
