I made the mistake of spilling some outdoor insecticide in the house. Now I need to get rid of the nasty smell
Any suggestions?
WHAT PRODUCT DID YOU SPILL?
Asking for some FRiends.
I agree. Bleach is probably a good choice. I recall that’s what was mentioned in chemical training when I was in the army a while ago, although it was very strong bleach.
‘Garden Tech. SEVIN’
They won’t answer
It’s for outdoor use only
Just checked a Material Safety Data Sheet for Sevin. The MSDS advises that in the event of a spill, contact the manufacturer. We just had a yellow jacket nest killed using that stuff. We called in a licensed exterminator to do it. It’s nasty stuff. Contact the manufacturer for what to do about the spill. Good luck!
In the meantime, keep people and any pets away from the area until you’ve cleaned it up per instructions from the manufacturer. :-)
