Rush coined the term from Plante. He used to listen to Plante’s show every morning to “prep” (don’t know if he still does this), but there have been instances where Rush has lifted entire sentences from Plante’s shows and used them on his own show on the same day. Best!

I have NEVER, nor has any Italian I know EVER encountered that comment as a slur or used it as a slur.

It’s absurd to the point of being the most absurd thing I’ve read in a while.

ANYONE can be called a “fredo” and the insult or jest will be understood.

Another day and Rush is still not giving Chris Plante credit to coining “FREDO CUOMO”. Even Seb Gorka and Mark Steyn gave kudos yesterday to Plante for coining it. Steyn was subbing for Tucker Carlson.
