I was just familiarizing myself with Imgur.com and ran across this interesting tidbit. Any truth to this?

Freep on!

Remember The Dalton School, where Epstein taught and (A.G.) Barr’s headmaster dad got pushed out, then Gardner P Dunnan came in to be Headmaster..?

He had a 14 yo girl living at his house...! Good God.

She couldn’t afford the tuition, no father in the house, etc:

Dunnan’s wife was dying of cancer, they gave the poor girl a place to stay, but Gardner Dunnan “nice proxy dad” was molesting the 14 y.o.

THAT is where Anderson Cooper went to school, wow.

Hey Bro, I'm not questioning the accuracy of your info, just wondering where did you find that?

Lefties seem to have a continuing problem with timelines.

Reversing timelines is a classic way of editing reality to confuse the public record.

Reverse time and you can reverse cause-and-effect relationships.

Reverse cause-effect and you can reverse guilt-innocence.

Looks like the FBI investigation (of Epstein!) is already paying off too... he's dead. Bet the FBI ‘investigation of the evidence’ also went well... turns out it accidentally burned up, bleach bitted, and destroyed with hammers.

Maybe the same FBI team that helped Hillary destroy evidence... helped out with Epsteins...

Isn’t this a weird topic for barr’s dad? In fact, I’ve never heard of such a theme. Remember, the apple doesnt fall far from the tree. But it does show that these elites have weird backgrounds and interconnections that exceed coincidence.

But, really is questioning an important political figure like barr a sign of leftism?

“I think it was a liberal school that wanted to be known for their ‘summerhill’ approach to education. It was a stupid idea from the 60’s that assisted with destroying education in the United States. All that ‘free spirit’ crap...”

It’s the same school that Woody Allen’s character’s teenage lover went to in the universally lauded movie Manhattan.

“So, a space Harlequin Novel.”

Exactly, with a murderous alien race threatening the Galactic sector.

Transparency: I only know Harlequin Romances from the covers in the book store. Honest.

the exact DATES of Epstein’s hiring are all over the place; there are many competing claims.

Possibilities:

1. Epstein was hired by a spy guy who wrote about intergallactic space slavery

2. He was hired by a guy who was molesting a 14 y.o. he was cohabitating with as his wife died of cancer

Oh yeah, visit NYC cuz it’s a Helluva Town, just like the song sings.

AG Barr’s father had left the school, I believe, 2 years prior to him being hired.

It looks like Jeffrey Epstein came in during the year that Donald Barr left, 1974, and stayed for two years after that.

Barr's departure, though, seems to have been so stormy and contentious that if Epstein had been his pet or pal, he would have had to leave as well.

Barr Sr. was a hard-@ss who suspended more than a few students, that, plus his age, may have been one reason why Hackley students shunned him.

The sex slave SF book does complicate the picture, but doesn't make it likely that Barr and Epstein were close.

Epstein didn't have a degree, but he had four or five years of college and may have gotten hired with school assuming that he would get the degree if he wanted a more permanent position.

It would be interesting to know more about the timeline. Noel Casler might have been just old enough to have known students who were at Hackley when Barr Sr. was, but the idea that Barr was some kind of sexual predator seems unlikely at his age.

Casler is aspires to be a comedian and that makes him exaggerate for effect.

Hey Bro, I'm not questioning the accuracy of your info, just wondering where did you find that?

Looks like a story last year, during the rush of 30-year-old sex accusations.

https://www.nydailynews.com/new-york/education/ny-metro-dalton-headmaster-sexual-abuse-allegations-lawsuit-20180607-story.html

"The plaintiff claims Gardner Dunnan groped and sexually touched her on four separate occasions at his Upper East Side apartment and his Jersey Shore house in 1986 and 1987... fondling her breasts, sticking his tongue in her mouth, disrobing and groping her, laying on top of her and thrusting his genitals against her”

(she says she was a virgin at the time, at age 14, but since no penetration, no evidence that way... and the suit is filed 32 years later.)

For a girl living with her assailant, only 4 events, with zero penetration, over a period of years.... that seems pretty mild compared to what pops into our minds when we see "sexually abused the 14 year old girl living with him."

I'm not saying it was nothing, or that she is lying, but to be an issue 32 years later, over just groping and grinding, on only 4 occasions, from someone she lived with, and no evidence or witnesses or corroboration? That's a big stretch for any fair-minded Court.

It looks like Epstein had four or five years of college at Cooper Union (1969-1971) and at NYU’s mathematics institute (1971-1974), possibly taking off some time in between. Dalton may have taken him on with the proviso that he finish up his degree if he wanted to keep his job. That’s rare for high schools and bachelor’s degrees, but I believe it’s common for colleges to hire post-grads who haven’t yet finished their degrees. And Dalton, remember, was a progressive school that may have wanted to show that bureaucratic details didn’t matter.

One thing to note is that prep schools in general were REALLY hurting at this time. The baby boom had trailed off, prep schools themselves were sneered at in some circles, and the economy was suffering. My own prep school went from a height of 1,200 students in 1964 to a low of under 250 in the mid-70s, and that was despite turning co-ed. Teachers, therefore were not as in demand, and even at the top levels, the pay generally stinks, and it isn’t a 40 hour job, when you are asked to coach lacrosse or be a dorm master. Even New York was hurting in those days (read “Art of the Deal”), but I would think that area would be most resistant to a downturn.

Every state has different requirements for teachers. In this time frame, it may not have been uncommon to hire teachers who had a few years of college if they were qualified in the subject matter. Even now, in many states, substitute teachers do not have to have credentials.

If a character in paperback science fiction becomes a slave, isn't it a pretty good bet that he'd become a sex slave?

The sex makes the books profitable.
