“Don’t Give Up The Ship”

I like it...but SOMEBODY will take offense, perhaps someone who suffers the heartbreak of seasickness.

We will lose to China in the next war.

Hell, we'll lose to Dearbornistan.

This happened because of the infinitesimally small percentage of people in American society that are mass shooting victims?

*sigh*

This sentence originated was uttered to the crew of an American naval vessel doing battle with the Brits during the War of 1812. The ship’s captain was mortally wounded and implored his crew to fight on.

The War of 1812 has some great stories of courage and honor!

Growing up in Boston, I was taken to the USS Constitution many times by my Dad, who was a Navy Vet of WW2 and Korea.

Those were the days. The ship is still there...I should go again, even if I go by myself this time.
