I’ve assembled several dozen AR pattern rifles so far and I’ve tried dozens of triggers. This is the best primer I’ve seen and it would have been very helpful when I first started years ago. I mostly use drop-in triggers but I’ve really come to appreciate the Larue MBT 2-stage...excellent value and performance.
I got a Geissele SSA-E at the NRA convention for $165. Still trying to figure it out on my 16” HBAR rifle. Much lighter than my Rock River two-stage, but I’d never put that on a defensive rifle.
I got 1000 rds of .223 available
Is that all? LOL
The AR I built has been having trouble with the carrier not fully closing after a shot. It gets jammed pretty bad and I cant always eject the round.

That’s what I’m selling :)
bump for reference.
I collect old military rifles, mostly WW2 bolt actions. What I have learned is that Molly grease on the sear of a trigger will work wonders over time in smoothing out a trigger. If you are in a hurry, using a fine polishing stone will also help make things smoother.
Wow, you're amazing.
On a scale of 1 to 100 amazing, where would you rate yourself?
Also rate how stupid are the rest of us, with 1 being the least stupid and 100 being more smarter.
Because clearly you have determined yourself qualified to lecture us.
Any opinions on good “drop-in” trigger assemblies to use with polymer lowers such as the CavArms/GWACS units? I’ve been following the “What Would Stoner Do” videos on InRangeTV and am thinking of building a “minimum weight” carbine.

Great stuff. I have mixed it with chrome polish and lubed sliding parts and seers with it and then worked the action several hundred times. Accelerated break in. Then the gun is stripped and thoroughly cleaned and re lubed. Works great.
I stoned the sear on a the stock trigger in a Colt and restored the case hardening. Took out all the creep.
Your guide is very nicely organized and illustrated—very enticing for anyone who likes to learn.
My Rock River lower came with a 2 stage job which I love. Mrs. L went with the single stage BTE which she loves.
To each their own.
