An MSNBC political analyst said on "Morning Joe" Monday that President Trump's rhetoric "could lead to some sort of a horrible civil war."
Karine Jean-Pierre, the chief public affairs officer for MoveOn.org, was reacting with Joe Scarborough to Trump's attack on Rep. Elijah Cummings, D-Md., in which the president called Baltimore far worse and more dangerous than the southern border.
Cumming[s'] District is a disgusting, rat and rodent infested mess. If he spent more time in Baltimore, maybe he could help clean up this very dangerous & filthy place, Trump tweeted, before calling for an investigation into why Baltimore received so much federal funding.
Jean-Pierre said Trump is putting out "toxic" racism in his tweets and it must be called out. She argued Cummings "is everything Trump is not" and Trump is "threatened by Cummings."

But, everyone in Baltimore says Trump is right....it’s a shiiiiiithole.
No modern city can feed itself. Nor can it supply electricity and water. Major routes of Congress and egress can be denied.
Brutal. Short. Definitive.
Lol. Best autocorrect ever. Congress should be ingress.
“Civil war” presumably means black riots.
Where’s the person with the tagline to the effect that the next Civil War isn’t going to be nice the way the last one was?
Bull Butter!!! When will the Demonrats ever realize that this POTUS will fight back and expose them for what they really are? The day of the mealy-mouth Presidents is OVER! Hopefully the voters in these shyte holes will catch on that there’s a better life for them with this President!!!
We’re headed toward CW-II all right. But it’s not due to the Trumpster. And when we do fight it, we’ve got a guillotine ready for you, Joe. A very dull and rusty one.
Why is Ms. Jean-Pierre concerned about a civil war? Is she worried her side will lose?
It's just a $1.10 subway ride for me to reach Harvard Yard and another $1.10 to reach the offices of the Boston Globe.
It’ll resemble Yugoslavia more than anything.
Projection. Constant projection. With the full media as a bull horn. Sound bites are the death of this nation, little by little.

Nuff said; read no further.
Civil war: Don’t talk . . . bring it. I have been threatened enough to where I don’t give a flying $h!+ anymore.
Its better than the alternative of being overrun by communists and their sympathizers.
It won't be a shooting war, but a war for votes, and I'm gaining more confidence the Democrats are going to see red in 2020.
No, not really, I think she’s hoping for one not realizing that their side will be destroyed.
And Americans aren’t going to be slow to act and then leave the job partly finished like Pinochet.
