Actor Dave Bautista attacked President Donald Trump over the weekend, declaring him a “disgrace” to everything America stands for. Bautista made the comments in response to a story detailing how CNN anchor Victor Blackwell teared up as he denounced Trump’s attacks on Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-MD), who he described as “brutal bully” who has let his district in Baltimore become a “disgusting, rat and rodent-infested mess.” Of course an elitist POS would say that,” Dave Bautista said about Trump’s comments. “He’s never wanted for anything. He’s never had to fight or go hungry! He doesn’t know what the American Dream is. He’s a disgrace to everything this country is. How the hell did a lying, pampas, orange, ignorant, cheap salesman tear us apart?”

That reminds me of how I used to feel about Richard Nixon back in the late 70’s. I hate everything about him. This was right after Watergate. Then a friend of mine at college said something about Nixon had been very good for the economy.
I was shocked that ANYONE I personally knew as a friend had anything good to say about that president. That encouraged me to ponder what exactly, was I basing my ‘lively rage’ on?
What, exactly, was Nixon doing that was so very horrible?
Expressing anger and hate toward ‘tricky Dick’ was very much in vogue during that time. Even on SNL. This was the beginning of me coming to my own conclusions, regardless of what Walter Cronkite and Peter Jennings had to say.
