In a 5 to 4 decision, the U.S. Supreme Court has temporarily given the green light to the Trump administration to reallocate $2.5 billion in Pentagon military funds for construction of a border wall, even as court challenges continue.
The court's conservative majority, siding with the White House, lifted a lower court injunction that had temporarily put a hold on the move as the case proceeds.
"The government has made a sufficient showing at this stage that the plaintiffs have no cause of action to obtain review of the Acting Secretary's compliance with Section 8005," the court wrote in a simple order.
Justices Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Sonia Sotomayor and Elena Kagan would have denied the move. Justice Stephen Breyer also opposed lifting the injunction in full, saying he would have preferred to allow the government to finalize the contracts for the wall but not yet begin construction pending outcome in the case.

You don’t need to wish death on anyone - just wish that Roberts actually votes like the conservative he was appointed to be. Ginsburg is doing exactly what she was appointed to do - she’s betrayed no one and no principle. Unfortunately, the same can’t be said of John Roberts.

You read it’s being built and it’s not being built. DJT needs to show the wall going up for 2020 impact. The man knows how to build, now show it going up! And rub libs noses in the information while it happens. A ma duece implacement every 150 yards along the way wouldn’t hurt either, but that’s a little over the top probably.

Who’s “we” kemo sabe? I am four square with dp0622 in his wish for Ginsberg to pass. When someone is consciously hurting you and your country, “praying” for the “source” to die is a good thing. It is really easy to see now why in some places, a change in leadership means some of the “old people” need to go. I don’t advocate that, but I see why it’s done. We are a nation of laws, or at least I thought we were until Hillary “lost.” I just hope we use our “treason and sedition” statutes to the fullest in the coming months. Some people who have been involved in the Trump Coup need to pay with their lives as I see it. We need to make some of the worst offenders examples, so it will be less likely to occur again.

I think I covered them when I talked about those who have committed treason and/or sedition. I’d push Ruth Buzzy Ginsberg’s wheelchair for the rest of her hopefully short life, if the Clintons actually received the justice they deserve.
