'The Abominable Dr. Phibes' and its sequel were two of the greatest schlock B-movies ever made. I met Price back in the 80's and wanted to get his autograph on my copy of his biography, but was only able to work in a handshake as he was so overwhelmed with other fans. Very gracious, genuine man. And tall.

The schlock and camp in Phibes were signs that the horror genre was exhausted. It was reinvigorated by Alien in 1979 and new literary practitioners like Stephen King.

A favorite movie he is in is called Champagne For Caesar. He is a zany soap making executive.

Some of the Saint OTR shows of his are good too.
