Bernie Sanders has repeatedly said that he wants the minimum wage to be raised to $15 an hour.
However, he pays some of his own employees only $13 an hour.
And he said it’s “not acceptable” that some of his employees have complained about this.
These are Sanders’s exact words:
“It does bother me that people are going outside of the process and going to the media. That is really not acceptable. It is really not what labor negotiations are about, and it’s improper.”
This makes Sanders a hypocrite in two ways.
First of all, he doesn’t pay his own workers the $15 minimum wage that he wants all other employers to pay.
And secondly, he’s against his own employees complaining about their pay, even though he has always supported free speech for everyone else’s employees who complain about their pay.
Of course this is also the same Bernie Sanders who repeatedly criticized “millionaires and billionaires,” but then hypocritically defended his own membership in that very same group after the media reported that he was one of them.

In socialism and communism, there is always a ruling elite which doesn’t follow the rules it makes for others. It lives high off the hog off the hard work of the people who it scorns.
The French had the right idea for them, back in 1789.
What a jackass. Why didn’t he pay them $15/hr right from the start, why should these employees be forced to ask for $15?...... $13 is a “starvation wage”, Bernie. Haha. He deserves everything he is getting.

The other Democrats are smart. They call their workers “volunteers” or “interns” and graciously give them miniscule “stipends”. Imagine the begging these socialists are doing before the guilt ridden, crypto socialist billionaires. It seems that Hollywood is having a very bad year and that usually reliable stream of donations is running a bit dry.
This is very embarrassing for a life long, elderly socialist. Suspect one of the leftist billionaires will relieve Bernie of this existential burden.

Bernie should subject the complaining employees to a show trial. Accuse them of being wreckers, and counter-revolutionaries. After all, that’s the communist thing to do.

I think he's utterly cynical, and deep down thinks his followers are total fools who deserve to be cheated and misused.
He reminds me of L. Ron Hubbard, who famously said "If you want to get rich, start a religion."
He can redistribute other peope’s wealth blithely, but when it comes to his own money it’s “not acceptable”.
