100 yd 45 ACP aint happening.
Yeah. A grizzly at 100 yards can perhaps be avoided, but if it wants to be a problem, it can get closer pretty fast. I’d still carry a .44, and probably wish it were a .500 if I were charged.
While not a first choice, 45 ACP is just fine at 100 yards when fired from a rifle. It’s never going to drive nails, but I can shoot accurate enough to do the job at that range.
