She really isn't any nuttier than the rest of them. Just "different".
A different kind of nutty.

“So they just got out there and ran around and kicked the damn ball until they were utterly exhausted and their parents could then take them home and get some rest because their kids were too worn out to bug them about opening them a snak pak or taking them to Happy Fun Time Trampoline Town or something.”

This is the only legitimate purpose for soccer in the United States.

...ew-wavy, spiritual rock-worshiping, Stevie Nicks sort of way...
~~~
I can kinda dig her hippie persona, as a gimick.
Not as a presidential candidate. To pull that off, you’d have to do it right, including being genuine about civil liberties, for one thing.
But when I saw that clip where she said (paraphrasing) she is going to beat Trump and win by using love, and she had this angry, or at least negative ‘vibe’ that was probably meant to appear as determination, then I wasn’t buying the act. It wasn’t a case of RBF either, because I saw her during other parts of the debate and it was a different vibe.
I actually thought about donating to her campaign to help her make the levels for future debates, because... chaos.
I think this is just about the most brilliant takedown of soccer I have ever read.
It’s no more ridiculous than debating the merits of abolishing the private health insurance of well over 100 million Americans and forcing those same Americans to pay for healthcare for the tens of millions of new illegal aliens who are going to flood into the country after Democrats succeed in decriminalizing illegal border crossings.
It would be no more absurd than debating whether or not to print 5 trillion dollars we do not have so we can “forgive” the student loans taken out by idiots so they could obtain worthless degrees in Tibetan Women’s Studies or Russian trans-gender Poetry; no more ridiculous than forcing a sitting U.S. President to debate whether or not to award abortion rights to people who do not possess female body parts; no more ludicrous than debating whether or not to abolish the miracle of air travel so we can replace it with rail, the transportation miracle of 1840; no more absurd than debating whether or not to spend 38 trillion dollars attempting to get rid of cow farts; no more mindless than debating whether or not our country should adopt a socialist philosophy that has caused so much human suffering and death everywhere it has been tried.
And yet, these are the positions the Dems espouse. Incredible....
That’s the problem with refusing to realize you lost an election. You concurrently refuse to realize the “dogs wouldn’t eat it”. Making it simultaneously possible for you to insist you were correct with great moral indignation and continue to push policies that really are unpopular eventually requiring violent force to apply. The Civil War has started, FRiends.
Williamson was the Lead Minister at a Church my Wife and I attended in Warren, Michigan. She took over when the Founding Minister Jack Bollen passed away in the 1980’s.
She was very “cold” personallity and took this UNITY CHURCH to a Course In Miracles Church with a Black Gospel Theme. We left.
I sat up and took notice when she told the entire listening audience ... especially the dems on the platform ... that;
"Trump got elected by tapping into a phrase, "Make America Great Again" and until we dems GET that, we'll never win another election"
(or words to that effect)
IMO, nothing more powerful could have been said on an international stage.
If Marianne Williamson were truly in tune with truth and spirituality, she would recognize the amazing goodness and love in President Trump. But she doesn’t because she is just another programmed, progressive hater.
Still claim Marianne was misnamed.
Her real name is HONEY SNOW and the only persons who cared about what she said were those who purchased her book (women).
Her charm was a visual attraction; her intellect, new age ‘piffle light’.
