On Wednesday, Marshae Jones, a 27-year-old woman from Birmingham, was taken into police custody after being indicted in Jefferson County on a manslaughter charge. She is currently being held on a $50,000 bond.
In December, Jones — then five months pregnant — got into an altercation with a 23-year-old woman outside of a store. The woman, Ebony Jemison, pulled out a gun and shot Jones in the stomach. Jones miscarried shortly after.
According to a report from Al.com, police initially charged Jemison with manslaughter over the shooting. But a jury declined to indict her, saying that Jones initiated the altercation and that Jemison was acting in self-defense when she shot at Jones.
The very short story? The pregnant woman was fighting with another woman over the baby daddy. The other woman shot her in stomach. The baby died. Both women are not charged with in this but more so the pregnant woman.
Here is the catch who is helping the pregnant woman beat the rap? I’m not telling you watch the video!!! I want you all to hear this!!!

Pregnant one got shot and baby was killed.
Initially shooter was arrested for killing baby.
Shooter got off due to it being self-defense.
Mother was therefore responsible for death of the child.

3rd time she’s been shot this week.
My understanding is that they charged her in the death of her unborn baby, because she started a fight with the other woman and pursued the fight, and the other woman shot her in self defense.
