YouTube's Rewind 2018 turned out to be such an incredible disaster that it quickly became that platform's most disliked video of all time. So this year it is expected that YouTube will avoid the mistake of featuring celebrities and concentrate more on YouTubers themselves. However, the problem is if they do that how do they ignore prominent YouTubers such as PewDiePie and Logan Paul who they have very noticeably shunned last year? In addition, the biggest controversy by far this year is the demonetization of Steven Crowder's Louder With Crowder, not for violating any specific policies but because someone was offended by something he said.
Therefore this raises the possibility that YouTube, in order to wash its hands of embarrassment, will simply NOT produce an official YouTube Rewind 2019.
PING!
Will the last one to leave U-Toob please turn out the lights...
Whatever way they go with YT Rewind 2019 is going to be EMBARRASSING for them. My suggestion is they just turn the YT Rewind 2019 production over to PewDiePie and Steven Crowder. That would take GUTS which is why they won’t be doing it.
