Madonna, My Little Darlinka, You ARE the Patriarchy

You probably never thought Madonna and President Donald J. Trump would agree on anything but they both think that the New York Times sucks.

Image result for Madonna pussy hatMadonna, in her black pussy hat, “resisting” the President with a foul-mouthed speech about blowing up the White House, or something.

President Trump’s complaint is that they report fake news and generally hate America:

The complaint from the woman who put the V in vulgar is about publishing a celebrity profile - “Madonna at Sixty” -  on her that she found neither adequately deferential nor fawning enough. And this despite having given their journalist access to her inner circle. She said the article mentioned her age too frequently and she felt like she had been metaphorically raped by the patriarchy, or something.

“Im sorry i spent 5 minutes with [the journalist],” the iconic pop star wrote on Instagram on Thursday. “It makes me feel raped. And yes I’m allowed to use that analogy having been raped at the age of 19. Further proof that the N.Y.T. Is one of the founding fathers of the Patriarchy. And I say — DEATH TO THE PATRIARCHY woven deep into the fabric of Society. I will never stop fighting to eradicate it

Good on ya, Madge. You keep wielding your woman parts power by offering to give men blow jobs in return for their votes; that will show the old patriarchy whose in charge around here.

Pause a moment if you will and enjoy the rich irony of this complaint coming from a self-promoting woman who made literally hundreds of millions of dollars by flaunting her hypersexualized body at men.

“To say that I was disappointed in the article would be an understatement,” she wrote. “It seems. You cant fix society And its endless need to diminish, Disparage or degrade that which they know is good. Especially strong independent women. The journalist who wrote this article spent days and hours and months with me and was invited into a world which many people dont [sic] get to see, but chose to focus on trivial and superficial matters such as the ethnicity of my stand in or the fabric of my curtains and never ending comments about my age which would never have been mentioned had I been a MAN! Women have a really hard time being the champions of other women even if. they are posing as intellectual feminists.” – From Madge’s Instagram

I presume that what Madonna was looking for from the NYT’s journalist was more along the lines of what was produced by The Guardian: an article that served as a PR release ahead of her new album and tour.

Medellín, the first track from Madonna’s 14th studio album, arrived like La Isla Bonita on steroids: with Madonna in a lather of faith and lust, exercising her long-held fascination with all things Latinate and in sync with a pop mood attuned to the other Americas.

Because we all know that “other” Americas are better than the real thing.

Often, she obfuscates, but just intriguingly enough… It follows, therefore, that a song called God Control is probably about gun control, as well as democracy and the state of the US. “This is your wake-up call!” warns Madonna, before the whole thing is bathed in glitterball disco and topped off with a schoolyard sing-song rap about how Madonna doesn’t take drugs. It sounds, weirdly, like Daft Punk.

I will risk the presumption that “Daft Punk” is a group but it also serves as a perfect summary of all things Madonna.

Easiest to understand is Killers Who Are Partying, a 21st-century digital fado on which Madonna allies herself with the dispossessed and marginalised: virtue signalling, with trap beats on. It’s sanctimonious, coming from a first-world millionaire, but she sings it like she believes it.

And. There. It. Is. Madonna doing what she has always done best: faking it. Just another schlocky, self-promoting pop-celebrity conflating entertainment with actually being important in the cultural tide. Ever hypocritical, she expects us to be in awe of the results of her herculean efforts to remain looking forever young - cosmetic surgeries/procedures, enhancements, workouts, yoga and digital enhancements – without ever actually acknowledging that she is, in fact, growing old.

Madonna, my little darlinka, you ARE the Patriarchy

P.S. Raj is feeling fine this morning and recovering nicely. He would like to thank each of you for your kind words and prayers that helped him sail through surgery and hopefully rehab.

The outfit with the Orange pants; it looks like when she accumulated that stuff that the proprietor also provided her with a bowl of soup and a pamphlet about Jesus. What a special look.

So what you will about Madonna like she’s evil and promotes bad behavior, but she keeps working and making money. Her business generates jobs and tax revenue.

I doubt Brian May is a big Madonna fan.
