A’yup
Looks like instead of putting the girls in a position where they might get shot or shoot someone else, maybe a competent gun handler might have provided some training in proper technique. Then the videos would be don’t mess with these girls because they can shoot.
Like most here I dont find these type of vids funny at all. You should never hand a gun to a novice without proper instruction of what to expect, how to properly fire it and basic gun safety.
My Mrs handled guns very well in veagas and since then (4 years ago) we go to PA to shoot and I want to move there.
She loves shooting. As long as it’s not me :)
Agree. First-timers should always be started with a .22. No kick, no loud noise, easy to shoot. And if an inexperienced shooter wants to shoot a .44, or, God forbid, a .50, tell them NO instead of filming a ‘funny’.
Now, my wife can handle a .357 magnum just fine, and I assure you she won’t have a ‘funny’ video. But she definitely doesn’t want anything heavier. But we all know some women that can handle the heavy firepower, so to say ‘ALL WOMEN’ shouldn’t shoot is also a bunch of BS.
Even people who have been around guns all their lives can screw up in a thoughtless moment. Walking back to the truck one day after hunting I decided to just discharge the black powder rifle and clean it rather than finding the C02 canister and blowing the charge out so I just pointed it with one hand from the waist into a berm and pulled the trigger. Damn thing almost took my finger off. Wont ever do that again.
Why do you have to go to PA to shoot? Do you live where you can’t shoot?
It ain’t just girls!!!!! One of these guys gave himself a bloody nose.

I like going there, I am looking up there too and I dont want do anything in nyc anymore :)
There are ranges but I’m just done with the city.
Staten island is nice but a half a lifetime is enough :)

Agreed. It’s like watching a video of someone throwing gasoline on a camp fire. A terrible tragedy can be just around the corner.
For “Blondie with a Big Gun”, you said: “The recoil of the blast knocks her on her back, sending the gun flying everywhere around, potentially shooting everyone else that was around (including the cameraman).”
I disagree, as that was a big bore black powder gun, probably on the order of a 54 or 58 cal that was overloaded for the experience level of the shooter. And her form was not all that good. Look at how she is sitting and where she is sitting.
The rifle is a single shot front loader. Once fired it cannot shoot again until manually reloaded. As long as the weapon is pointed down range when fired, there is no way anyone can be shot with it once fired, assuming no one is dumb enough to be down range.
This whole series of videos is something a lefty would do to turn girls away from guns. Making stupid statements like the one I just mentioned is something an MSM journalist would do to show how dangerous guns are and should only be had by cops and soldiers.
Does the CO2 canister have a valve and fitting that screws to the nipple hole? I've shot quite a bit of black powder, 54 caliber Lyman Great Plains rifle, but I've always used the screw attachment on my rod to drill into the ball and pull it out (wet powder scenario). CO2 sounds a whale of a lot easier.
Do you have a link on the setup you use?
You shoot black powder and have never seen those?
