Had the opportunity to have lunch with Gino about 10 years ago (a friend went to high school with him) when his teams were starting to get on a year over year roll. A real nice, regular guy who didnt seem like he needed to be anywhere else other than having lunch with us.

When I was in school, we all had a certain respect and even fear of teachers and coaches.
Nowadays, these coaches are afraid of their players? Afraid of hurt feelings and offending the sensibilities of the players?
This never would have happened decades ago, just saying.
Years ago there was some controversy at another college where some of the women b-ball players wouldn't stand for the National Anthem.
