Gene Simmons of the group KISS visited the Pentagon to promote military service on May 16, 2019 where he talked about his mother, who recently died at the age of 93. She was 14 when she was put in a Nazi concentration camp.

So that bitch in the House has a "calming feeling" thinking about what millions of people like Gene Simmons' mother went through? Gene Simmons, for all his crazy outrageous antics on the stage, is one of the very few smart, sensible celebs. After watching this I'm really sorry I didn't get to see their final concert at the Amalie in Tampa.

Hard for me not to get a bit teary-eyed when I watched this the other day. Watching a man that truly loves this country, putting it out there.

He’s told her story many times through the years. They’re both proud of America. Too bad our leaders aren’t.

Never much cared for hard rock of any type, as its weird, a bit immoral and ...screaming.
But I have to say most of these guys actually seem to be real salt of the earth types with a lot of common sense.
