Personally, I think being conservative represents a type of freedom they resent. They get angry that we don’t spend 24/7 dwelling on the issues they feel are most important.

Sometimes I get the feeling that the wacko libs are more angry with the fact that I don’t agree with them on climate change than they actually care about climate change.

I think there’s an element of “we should all be on the same side”.
As in, when Hillary ran for President, you had to vote for her because she’s one of us. You should be pro-choice because you must demand the right to control your own body, this is about us. ect, ect, ect... ignoring the fact there is rarely within any specific race/gender group 100% ideological agreement. And when you don’t agree, they consider it betrayal.
