Hah, you’re right! Never noticed that until now.

Springsteen is dead to me, the POS.

Springsteen is dead to me, the POS.

He died as a musician after The Wild, the Innocent and the E Street Shuffle, and that was a long time ago. When he dumped his wife to go off with his violinist, I tuned him out once and for all. But a few years ago he was asked to sing a Bob Dylan song at the Kennedy Center honoring Bob Dylan, so I was watching on Bob's behalf.

The Jersey shore bar band boy, Springsteen, came out on that prestigious stage and committed an absolute atrocity on that song. It was beyond embarrassing. Given Dylan's eccentric vocalizations, it's easy to think Dylan didn't know how to sing. But when I heard the contrast between his intention and Springsteen's pitiful simulation, Dylan's subtlety and originality became apparent, and Bruce's pitiful attempt to pay homage revealed his profound lack thereof.
