No. Too complicated. The modern era of partisan politics is all about hate. The Dems do everything they do to make sure their base hates the other side and keeps voting for Dems. The GOP does the exact same thing with their base. Partisan politics uber alles. All the “over the top” is just keeping the base energize. It all boils down to “just because we were wrong is no reason not to hate them, vote Dem”.
The reason the Rats continue to “cry wolf” is that though Mueller didn’t get an indictment, their constant attacks have kept Trump off balance & defensive. Plus their tactics have apparently prevented the JD from indicting anyone in the Obama admin. - yet.

I don’t think that’s a new theory. It’s been around. The question is whether it works. I would say that the jury’s still out on that. It’s worked in the past. But that doesn’t mean it will work this time. The problem is that it’s been tried before, and people understand that’s what they are doing. It’s just too transparent for most folks.
TDS is a real disease I have plenty of relatives who will need hospitalization.
