He and his wife, Amy, filed jointly and reported $366,455 adjusted gross income in 2017. They paid $81,019 in federal income tax and sent $1,166 to charity — a giving rate of just 0.3%, which is well below the national average.

Hoping this self-absorbed clown just goes away. The only ones who would vote for him are the ones who get a tingling in their leg over him.

Even when Cheapo Beto does give....

It goes to illegals.

“Nearly all of the 2017 donations went to Annunciation House, an organization that helps migrants, and O’Rourke noted that his wife and their daughter Molly would be serving food Wednesday night at an Annunciation House shelter.”

Most of these leftists firmly believe that charity is part of the problem. Gov’t is the only legitimate provider of services. Everything else is tainted by “agendas”, or restraints upon recipients. And all those charitable donations ought to be made to the Feds.

Most leftists have at least some agenda to marginalize if not end charitable activities.

BOR isn’t merely a skinflint. He is acting on his principles.

He may have the most net-worth but Kammy made the most money last year far and away and gave the least to charity by a wide, wide margin.

He is the charity, that’s hilarious. What a boob, I’m glad Tucker announced the end of his candidacy last night.

I saw a clip of Beto’s explanation. It appeared to me that the crowd, generally, was viewing the explanation as being as phony as Beto is. The crowd was just looking down the stairs on him with blank stares.

Tucker Carlson’s commentary last night about “Beto” now being a ‘political has been’ is worth watching. It was partly semi-satirical, which made it more enjoyable.

Is this a cheap shot at all that really served this country and those that lost their lives for American Ideals?

We are so blessed to have this great man do public service for us. I am humbled by his selfless contribution to all of us. Isn’t he the most humble man?

What a self centered anul orifice. This is an individual that wants to use the government to take money from you at the threat of confiscation of property, wage with holding, and possible death at gun point reinforcement charity to buy more votes for him. With the wages paid and benefits received it is no sacrafice

I do my best to contribute to the success of my community, my state and now, of my country. There are ways that I do this that are measurable. And there are ways that I do this that are immeasurable," he said.

This man doesn't have to give to charity. Running for office is his great act of charity. To us. The little people.

Wow...what a dumb position for a politician to take. Go to his web page and read what his positions are. He's as bad as Bernie.

and sent $1,166 to charity

I'd like to know WHAT charity that money was sent to... Knowing how cheap the liberal millionaire, fake Hispanic Beto is... we know there's an interesting self-serving back story...

I'm guessing this is the maximum amount his CPA said he could claim without any proof...OR like that other liberal lowlife Bill Clinton - the writeoff was for donating used boxer shorts to Goodwill...
