Buttigieg seems butthurt (pun intended) about the American political system.

But hey, what do I know? The Mayor of South Bend, IN speaks for "Most Americans".

Many Americans do want the socialist agenda. They don’t understand that socialism is not self-sustaining. They just don’t know they are choosing the Venezuela option.

What an absolute charlatan and tool this dude is:

“You know the Republicans in the Senate changed the numbers of justices on the Supreme Court to eight. Until they took power. Then they changed it back to nine. A lot of what we’re talking about is no less a shattering of norms than what the other side has done. …”

‘Most Americans Don’t Want the Conservative Agenda’

If that were a true statement, Democrats would be screaming for mandatory voter ID in every state and polling place.

Most Americans don’t want the conservative agenda that we are now seeing ..................................Yeah, that’s the ticket! We want soup kitchens, un employment checks, free stuff an economy that is stagnant and 2 jobs. Add to that a media that will tell us we are doing great with wussy leadership. s/

Most people who do not understand the basic laws of thermodynamics love socialism. They have no clue that you do not get anything for nothing. I think a generation of kids have been raised by indulgent parents who never taught them how to work for anything, and they believe that wanting means they should have. There are now youtube videos showing the worst of these entitled (mostly adult) brats.

People get lost in their Eco chamber. They lose sight of the real world and the world they have surrounded themselves with becomes their real world. (It’s like having Their Own Truth.) It reminds me of the distraught man who said, “I don’t understand it, everybody I know voted for (Adlai) Stevenson.” (Yes, but he didn’t count all the people he didn’t know.)

In fact, it is precisely for that reason that they have to interfere with democracy with voter suppression or clinging on an electoral college that overrules the will of the American people.

Where do you even begin with stupid statements like this ? This is what he believes ?? What suppression is he talking about ? Give us an example !

The Electoral College IS the will of the American People you idiot. This is the United States, plural. The President is elected by a majority of the States, which is represented by the votes of the people in each state. How is that not the will of the people ?

This popular vote crap only works if we are the United State of America. And we're not nor will we ever be.

In this, IMO, Buttigieg is correct.

Were we to return to a Constitutional Republic (not this farce\in-name-only of today), many on the right WOULD be asking, “Where’s “my” XYZ??” (public education, food/rent/utility/car subsidy, employer h’care+).

Far too many, THANKS! govt indoctrination (I mean ‘schools’), would be SHOCKED (shocked, I say) when they received the bill of the multitude of services they would need pay for.

Navel gazing and surrounding yourself with the same type of people tends to skew one’s viewpoint.

I suggest the mayor whose worldview is shaped by his limited experience with a few hundred million more Americans might be a tad constipated.

Butt-jig, most Americans don’t want your Globo-homo agenda, either. And if they do, TOO BAD; this ain’t a democracy where 51% get to decide to hand over the rights of the 49%.
