If Hillary isn’t in any trouble for illegally housing the material on an unsecured server, why should Assange be in trouble for publishing it? It’s either sensitive or it isn’t. Apparantly based on their treatment of Hillary, it isn’t.

wikileaks published a lot of state secrets that I believe quite a few state actors would love to get their hands on him for, but I agree with the instinct not to trust that politics isn’t the prime motivator behind this

One might think your logic solid and it is. But remember we live in CLown World where the giver of an illegal donation to a Democrat Candidate goes to prison but the candidate doesn’t (even when they knew it was illegal).
