Speaking to MSNBC's Nicole Wallace Monday afternoon, NBC legal expert Chuck Rosenberg weighed in
CHUCK ROSENBERG: Its never taken me 400 pages to say nothing happened. So I imagine something happened, and that something, particularly with respect to obstruction, was quite serious.
(snip) It goes as follows. The Department of Justice has in place policies, one dates to the 70s, one to 2000, that say to charge a sitting president would be overly burdensome, it would stigmatize the presidency, so we just dont charge sitting presidents. With that in mind, even if the obstruction constituted a crime, and it may well have, we dont know that yet (emphasis mine), I can imagine Mueller not making a recommendation because a recommendation to prosecute someone you cant prosecute is equally burdensome and equally stigmatizing.

400 pages of Mueller report never said "nothing happened", it detailed plenty of wrong-doings, just not on Trump's side.
And even though Rosenberg admitted he KNEW NOTHING yet what's in the report, that didn't stop him from making wild accusations.
Folks, remember this tidbit - "Rosenberg served as Chief of Staff to the Director of the FBI from 2013 to 2015." And who exactly is the Director of the FBI then? You got it, James Comey. They are as dirty as they come.
OK. Fine, but I’ll bet no one has ever paid you >$30 million to write a report that ultimately said nothing happened.
I believe him. He probably can’t even count to 400.
NBC legal expert ....such an expert he has to book slots on a bias corrupt network.
Really? Several years of relentless media coverage. Hours and hours of talking heads. And the result: "Uhhhhhhh, sorry folks: nothing happened."
“CHUCK ROSENBERG: Its never taken me 400 pages to say nothing happened.”
CHUCK ROSENBERG has uttered millions of words on NBC and has never uttered anything of importance.
Hey Chuck, you spent your entire life saying nothing.
LOL.
NBC has been saying less than nothing for 2 solid years.
They truly lack any sense of self-awareness.
There are many, many books of over 1,000 pages that say nothing.
Ha! Look how many trees were killed to print the report on that BS Dr. Ford and her creepy friends threw at Justice Kavanaugh!
Really? So Washington doesn’t produce thousands and thousands of empty pages - think of the Obamacare legislation! - that say nothing. Try another one.
“Rosenberg served as Chief of Staff to the Director of the FBI from 2013 to 2015.”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
That’s all you need to know, he’s one of the wrong-doers.
Per Wiki:
Rosenberg served as Chief of Staff to the Director of the FBI from 2013 to 2015. In this role, he worked closely with Director James Comey and other senior FBI officials on counterterrorism, intelligence, cyber and criminal investigative issues, including with international, federal, state and local law enforcement partners.
Translation... CHUCK ROSENBERG IS DEEP STATE
Actually, it DOES take 400 pages to disprove a series of false accusations.
Effing evil moron.
What did he expect after the spending of all those millions and years it took...a post card?
The Mueller camp has a lot of justifying to do, and it would take more than 400 pages of “fluff” to even get close to that justification.
Maybe the report was just vamping for time to figure out a graceful exit strategy, who knows.
But no media wonk is going to issue the final judgement on it for the public, we have been as awake as the media has been sleeping through all this...it was a hoax, pure and simple. An attempted coup, no mistake.
How about, “They truly lack any sense...” Period.
If Mueller could have charged Trumps janitor with a crime he would have done it. NOBODY in the Trump orbit was charged with the fake collusion thing.
The report’s subtitle is: Mueller CYA...
A report like this cannot say "nothing happened" without first laying the predicate for coming to that conclusion.
Mueller has to report on the leads, the investigations that followed those leads, the people who were questioned, the follow-ups on facts arising from the questioning, and only then can Mueller report on the finding that "nothing happened."
That takes a lot of pages to lay out, for just one incident under investigation.
“Its never taken me 400 pages to say nothing happened.”
If I give you $30M to investigate whether something happened or not, I certainly will expect a 400 page report explaining what you spent that money on to reach the conclusion - even if that conclusion is “nothing happened”.
How did you figure nothing happened? I’ll want at least a 1-page summary of EVERY interview, lead, suspect, etc. Give me “nothing happened” and I’ll want that $30M back.
