Approximately 40,000 rioters and demonstrators gathered Saturday in several locations along the Gaza security fence, the IDF reported.
The rioters hurled rocks and set tires on fire. In addition, a number of grenades and explosive devices were hurled at the Gaza-Israel security fence in a number of different incidents.
Most of the demonstrators are near the tents Gaza.
IDF troops responded with riot dispersal means and fired in accordance with standard operating procedures.

And I have often wondered, with the near hysteria of the claim that the Russians interfered with the 2016 election, if the complainers were upset that Obama funneled millions to unseat Netanyahu? Nahhh, I didn’t think so!
The Israelis fired 3 tank rounds at the only Hamas position then retreated. The IDF cannot seem to think outside the box and dread the use of real force for fear of world condemnation (making them appear weak and dhimmi-like).
This is a losing Israeli strategy: Hamas, absent a major effort to kill the Hamas leaders, commanders, and eliminate their missile wing, will just continue to escalate until the IDF is forced to give up entirely.
If the IDF continues the weak responses to major fire from Hamas, its going to look like the IDF is no longer combat ready and its leaders to weak to command troops into battle. All they can do is spend millions on a buildup, then retreat after the photo ops are over.
Hamas is in the process of scoring a major military victory over Israel.
This message will not be lost on all of Israel’s other enemies and things will really heat up. The IAF may be ready, but if the ground units are not and no ground can be held, then Israel will be in big trouble.

Good for Israel. And yet we cannot protect our border? Are we that inept? Or are traitors in charge?
We should have been sending our troops there for practice with our border.
Practice there might get too real.

Lots of people acknowledge the decline of Christianity ever since the end of World War II. But I never hear anyone pointing out the correlation between the rise of Israel and the decline of Christianity.
My feeling is that you can’t follow the New Testament unless you are also following the Old Testament first. Christianity is declining because people are rejecting the Old Testament, so rejecting the New Testament naturally follows after that.
I believe that God is thinning out the Christian herd, and separating the Believers from the non-believers. And the Believers are meant to join forces with the Jews, because together they are the only people embracing the morality of the Old Testament.
At this point we’re down to Israel, Poland, Hungary, maybe Italy, and large pockets of America, as the only places left where people still value the Old Testament.
