Notice that no one ever mentions Horowitz and Huber in the same sentence when talking about getting to the bottom of why the FBI started the Russian hoax.

I believe that there will soon be widespread sentiment for both Congress and the DOJ to drop this whole thing and to “move on”. It’s increasingly clear that the Donks luny fringe has a losing hand compared to Trump,Barr and Graham’s ability to totally expose the coup members including HRC, Lynch and Obama.
That’s exactly the vibe I’m getting. Roll up all the uninvestigated Democrat crimes in with the years long criminal assaults against Trump supporters and call it a day. We’ll get some dog and pony beltway theater show from the likes of Graham but that will be it.
No major figures from the Obama admin will be charged for their crimes. We live in a post Constitutional Republic.

I think McCain kept Graham out of this. No reason to get others involved. This was McCain’s swan song to get rid of Trump and wanted to take the credit for it. That was McCain’s ego.

True, but we should not assume that every Republican neverTrumper was a deep state defender.
Some were jealous of Trump’s political success.
Some were butt hurt from being beaten by him.
Some could not forgive the insults he hurled.
Some had genuine doubts regarding his conservativism.
And yes, some were deep state defenders who did not want Trump to succeed.
My point is that just because McCain allowed himself to be used by the deep state to legitimize the witch hunt against Trump does not prove he was doing it to protect and serve the deep state. It may simply prove he hated Trump’s guts. He’s dead so we’ll never know and it doesn’t really matter.
Same with Lindsey Graham. He was certainly anti-Trump early on, but why? I think he resented the comments Trump made about his bestie McCain. But with McCain gone and the passage of time, he’s enough of a statesman to realize there are more important things than hurt feelings. Trump has proven his MAGA agenda is genuine and that despite his derogatory tweets, he is a stand up guy when push comes to shove.
The neverTrumpers that were bitter over personal issues are being won over. The never Trumpers who are true swamp creatures will never be won over.
Time will tell who is who - but I think Lindsey Graham has already made the conversion.
We differ in opinion in similar ways to the differences between conservative and libertarian.
Trump, like most of us here, know a third party is not a viable option. So the GOP must be taken from within, and any grass roots change takes time.
The Dems may be sticking together, but what good will that do when socialism is soundly rejected in 2020?
As I said, I am not a defeatist. And I am bullish on 2020.

I’ve said for a long time that Trump has been a blessing but only a speed bump to slow it all down. And we should be very concerned with what happens when Trump leaves the White House because more than likely it will be back to business as usual but stronger than ever.
Next time, this coup attempt will seem like child’s play. People will disappear, people’s finances will be hacked into and confiscated. People like Rush and Joe DiGenova, Tucker Carlson, Donald Trump and countless others will be ruined or dead.
Conservatives like us will be in deep trouble. Technology will be used against us to the max.
People like Brennan, Clapper, Holder and V Jarret would love to see it all go smoothly and would be enforcing and overseeing it al.

More than likely with Sessions/Rosenstein running the DOJ. Now that Barr is the AG maybe things will change.
