Barbara is a pretty accomplished actress but patently flunked even high school civics. I pray she will bone up on American history and our founding fathers and our constitution. Prior to the creation of a d=standing army the armed citizenry was the singular protection against invasion. My family comprised the Foxwell militia on the eastern shore of MD. George Washington called them into service to protect DC during the revolution. The right and responsibility of the citizenry to protect themselves by their own hand is fundamental to the Constitution.
