Google on Tuesday posted two dozen new jobs for Stadia, the companys multimillion-dollar bet on the future of Internet-based video gaming.
The new roles span the globe, as Google looks for people with game industry experience in Mountain View, Canada, Germany, Taiwan and Japan.
One job listing, for a game producer in Mountain View, asked for applicants with a minimum of five years experience working on shipped video game titles and a passion for games, an understanding of the industry and the knowledge of what makes great interactive entertainment.
Stadia is a new service that allows anyone to play graphics-intensive games over the Chrome browser, Pixel smartphone, or a TV running Chromecast. The platform is capable of streaming 4K, ultra high-definition video at 60 frames per second over fast WiFi connections. Gamers can instantly livestream to YouTube, and invite their audience to play alongside them.
Google did not immediately say when the service would launch, or how much it will cost.
