Mullein is an herb I have never used. Not long ago I think posted some info about it, you can scroll up a bit. One herb I have used successfully for lungs is coltsfoot, made a strong tea and helped clear lungs and stop a vicious cough. The breathing excercises help me, I did them last night. I am not familiar with the device.

Somewhere on the thread early is more info about lungs, including steam inhalations and essential oils, that help a lot. For me, dry air is bothersome and my lungs do better with humidity. In the winter when the woodstove dries out the air I use a humidifier, and in the summer which is very hot and dry we have a large “swamp cooler” which adds moisture to the air. Some lungs may prefer dry but not mind.

Another thing that helps me is not using any products with artificial fragrances, petroleum products bother me. All fragrances other than natural essential oils are made with petroleum by products or coal tar, and also formulated with formaldehyde to make them long lasting. Air fresheners, etc. I use detergents with no fragrance and so on. That might help his breathing.

People coming over - eek - have to clean house a bit.
