I was getting ready for my radio show on Monday when I spotted an announcement on the AskDrBrown YouTube channel. The entire channel now, almost 1,600 videos has been demonetized.
By now, Ive been used to the constantly changing standards of YouTube, not to mention the non-existent customer service.
Im talking about YouTube approving a video one day that speaks out against abortion while telling me the next day that a generic video where I answer caller questions about the Bible is not suitable for most advertisers.
As Ive written before, if it wasnt so ridiculous, it would be funny...

YUP..!
America-hating foreingers own the US media.
They do this to us.
If Youtube, Twitter, Facebook, etc. want to pick and choose what they show then they are taking on the responsibility of a publisher with all the liability that implies.
“Youtube and similar companies do not want customer interaction or influence.”
...B...B...But I just got a popup that asked how pleased I was with the suggested videos column so they must care...
“The oppression is ramping up.”
“And Republican leaders say nothing.”
The Republican leaders (RINOS) Are the Deep State.
With Out Trump we are Screwed.
The oppression is ramping up.
And Republican leaders say nothing.
The Republican leaders (RINOS) Are the Deep State.
With Out Trump we are Screwed.
The GOP is happy to take Big Tech cash and let them snuff out conservative grass roots opposition to the uniparty. This is nothing new of course. They encourage the Obama IRS to assault us.
They are privately grateful - and gleeful.
They told Rush c. 1992 he had to do something about those social conservatives ruining the party.
Or... Enforce existing regulations: They are protected from content liability as open platforms by Section 230 of the CDA (1996).
If we had actual representation in Congress, then they would either revoke protection or require no content infringement (beyond universal FCC regulations).
They are allowed to have their cake and eat it too. These are publicly-traded corporations, not private companies.
Absolutely accurate.
pewdiepie is not far behind you. They will have to demonetize him after a mass murderer slandered him before he kill a bunch of people.
We will not explain why.
But they did explain why.
"Upon checking, your channel was demonetized due to re-used content."
Which was confirmed by the poster:"There are a handful of videos that we have received notice about for using a music clip or TV clip that they claimed was not fair usage."
The most important point is it isn't Google causing the problem.
Face it, advertisers don't want their ads to be displayed along side certain content.
Or do you think the advertisers shouldn't have any say on where their ads run?
And who's word do we have to trust on this? Oh yes, the people doing the censoring. Sure, they are going to tell you whatever they think sounds plausibly justifiable. This does not make it even slightly true. It's just a dodge to cover up the truth that they decided to censor someone because they didn't like their content.
You cannot prove the truth one way or the other because no one has the means to verify their claims.
And to demonitize *ALL* of the videos based on the allegation that some of them used music or video clips that went beyond "fair use"?
Pull the other one.
Absolutely true, and it's one of the problems with a lot of these banning stories - we only get one side of the story.
In this case, given the thousands and thousands of creators demonetized over the last couple of years, the vast majority of whom weren't political at all, I'd assume that the hoof beats were horses, not zebras.
Did anyone other than Moore ever claim that Moore was a founder?
According to Moore, Google claimed this prior to Trump giving him a shout out.
Wikipedia still mentions him.
