There are at least 7 or 8 examples of populations which have become different species.Oh?

Smooth and abrupt due to various catastrophic inputs like the great dying of 250 MYA (caused by the huge Siberian lava flow) and the dinosaur killer be it a Yucatán asteroid or Deccan Traps lava flow 66 million years ago. There is also some evuidence of various evolutionary change inputs caused by radiation from gamma ray burst stars from many light years away.
Then science should be able to duplicate these events again; in a small scale, of course.
That they have not done so leads me to wonder...

Evolution fails to explain so many features "Evolution" should be continuing today in all critters on earth.
Yet humans claim BIRTH DEFECTS and try to eliminate the deviation away from the 'norm'.

How many thousands more consider Darwins theory on evolution to be sound science? Let's take a vote and settle this thing once and for all!

a number of huge inland seas holding back incredible amounts of water were let loose when ice dams broke ???
Who says that 'seas' were available behind dams?
Did prehistoric Lake Bonneville drain thru the Columbia river basin creating scablands?
Evidence says yes.
Any scabland in the Tigris/Euphrates valley(s)?

Have THOUSANDS of cubic miles of rock been eroded from the western US; creating the Grand Canyon and others?
Why isn't the Gulf of California a big mud flat then?

I think Darwinian evolution is theoretically POSSIBLE and I do not dissent from it on religious grounds. Other folks have different 'possibilities'.

And there is a good chance there was a global flood. It’s all speculation. One can take what they want on faith.
I just don’t see how you can say you believe the New Testament yet deny what is written in them. It reminds me of my Sunday School teacher who said she doesn’t believe the Virgin Birth. At what point does one deny what the scripture teaches? How can one trust anything?

Sigh. Your children of the devil condemnation tells me it was useless to think I could have an intelligent dialog in this thread. Rather, dismissing my comparison of conservatives vs liberals as relates to your liberal revisionism, in rejecting accounts which the NT considers to be literal, is a poor excuse for intelligent dialog. Its over.

“The Seattle-based Discovery Institute, which advocates for Intelligent Design, is still growing its list of well over 1,000 Ph.D. scientists who dissent from Neo-Darwinism “
The “Discovery Institute” discovers how to pretend to come to a scientific conclusion, thereby rendering themselves and any conclusions they wish to support as not credible
To: Sopater
“There is scientific dissent from Darwinism. It deserves to be heard.
Just because there is dissent (even “dissent of a group of 1,000) from one theory in support of another does not make one more credible over the other.

Im a Roman Catholic. Any other form of Christianity is liberal revisionism. Happy now? No, I know you are one of the many varieties of Roman Catholic, a self-described "Cultural Catholic....Lapsed Catholic is another word" (unless there has been a change since that exchange) which asserts "much of the Old Testament are tales and morality plays," even Noah's flood, which places you in the camp of liberal revisionism, regardless of it falls under the Catholic label or not. Which it surely does .
