I would refer to it as the ‘fakeness of fake’....where some illusionist has told you bluntly that he can’t produce a rabbit out of the hat, and for five minutes....he manipulating the hat in twenty different ways, and finally...there is no rabbit pulled from the hat.

They will report that Mueller found no collusion between Russia and Trump in a couple lines, and then move seamlessly to the "latest news":

Why is John Brennan still a free man, free to go on network TV and slander the President? Brennan lied to Congress, specifically he lied about the CIA spying on the Senate Intelligence Committee, certainly a little more important information that Roger Cohen's supposed lies about talking to someone by email, and not just on the phone as he claimed. (Yes, that is what Mueller is trying to put him in jail for.)
What about James Clapper, who lied to the entire nation while under oath during Congressional testimony when, in answer to Sen. Wyden's question he assured us the NSA was not routinely spying on ordinary Americans. They were.
What about Andrew McCabe, who was given top billing on CBS yesterday to continue his attacks on the President, he's out there promoting his book not disgraced and serving time for lying to the FBI. But somehow that was enough of a crime for a half dozen other people to go to jail for it in the Mueller investigation.
For whatever reason Team Trump has not proven itself able to bring its tormenters to justice, so, I guess we are waiting for ABC et.al. to chastise themselves and their co-conspirators.
I suspect it's going to be a very long wait.
